Terms & Conditions

The care we promise,
and the fine print.

For over 50 years, Mangalore has trusted us with its finest garments. These terms set out how we care for your clothes and how our pickup & delivery service works — clearly and in full.

Garment Care

  1. We treat every delicate garment — silk, zari, chiffon, organza, and embellished pieces — with extra care. That said, the nature of these fabrics means we cannot be held responsible for damage or colour change that may occur during cleaning.
  2. Some garments carry latent defects from manufacture (uneven dye, incorrect fibre blends, or inadequate pre-shrinking) that only reveal themselves during cleaning. We cannot be held responsible for shrinkage, fading, or colour spreading that originates from these conditions.
  3. We give every stain our best effort. If a stain persists, we are happy to offer a complimentary rewash, though removal cannot be guaranteed in all cases. No additional charges apply for stain treatment.
  4. Garments with existing damage (thinning fabric, tears, large holes) are accepted and cleaned at the customer's risk. We record these conditions at intake and cannot be held liable for any worsening of pre-existing damage during the process.
  5. In the event of fire, all garments are insured and claims are proportional to the insurance settlement.
  6. Garments uncollected beyond one year of their due date will be donated to those in need. We will make every effort to reach you before this happens.

Pickup & Delivery

  1. At pickup, our team counts your garments and notes any existing damage with you before collection.
  2. If you won't be available to receive your delivery, please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.
  3. Payment is due on delivery, by cash or UPI.
  4. Please raise any concern at the time of delivery, before our rider leaves. All disputes must be raised and resolved before delivery is accepted.
